Recipe: Healthy Baked Spaghetti

Looking for a lighter version of baked spaghetti?! Look no further than this spaghetti squash with ground turkey. Low in carbs, calories and fat. Simple, quick, healthy dinner!!

Recipe: 4 simple ingredients! ~ spaghetti squash ~ pasta sauce ~ ground turkey ~ mozzarella cheese


- Place spaghetti squash in crockpot on low with 1 cup water.

- Cook for 6-8hrs.

- Cut squash lengthwise after cooked, remove seeds in middle. Scrap squash with fork to make noodles. Put in bottom of casserole dish.

- Cook ground turkey in skillet until browned. Mix in standard size spaghetti sauce of choice.

- Pour turkey mixture over spaghetti squash. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

- Bake on 375 deg for 25-30 min or until cheese is slightly browned.

***You can always prep the night before and bake the next day.
